We're making changes to our business model + we need your help!

Culinistics coaltion - a partnership with Lupus Foundation of America. We're making changes to our business model and need your help

When I first started Culinistics, a little over a year ago, I never had the intention of creating a 100% for-profit brand. I strongly believe that our purpose in this world is to be of service to others.

One of the ways in which I work in this purpose is through serving my clients, and my audience through the services and resources that we offer.

Over the last six months, I've been brainstorming ways that I could incorporate a non-profit initiative under our brand umbrella. And, not just any non-profit initiative - one that is near to my heart!

So today, I am incredibly excited and happy to share with you the Culinistics Coalition - our newly launched non-profit initiative in collaboration with the Lupus Foundation of America!

Introducing the Culinistics Coalition

Being of service and giving back to others has always been a core value of mine, and beginning today, it will forever be a part of the Culinistics business model.

Beginning in May of 2019, Culinistics will embark on a partnership with the Lupus Foundation of America, in hopes to fund research and find a cure for the auto-immune disease.

What is Lupus?

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects every part of a person's life. It can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs), and often lasts for many years.

With lupus, an individual's immune system cannot tell the difference between the body's healthy tissue and the foreign invaders (viruses, bacteria, germs) that it is supposed to fight off. Because of this, the body begins to attack itself and destroy healthy tissue, causing inflammation, pain, and irreversible damage in any part of the body.

The severity of the disease can range from mild to life-threatening, though most can live a full life with good medical care.

Why Lupus?

Lupus is near and dear to my heart because it is a disease that I live with personally. I was first diagnosed at the age of 17, and have become accustomed to the symptoms and side effects over the past 10 years.

For myself, and many others affected by the disease, I am honored to do my part in providing resources to assist in potentially find a cure.

As the Founder of Culinistics, I am incredibly honored to incorporate this new initiative without our business model. I cannot wait to see the positive things we can achieve by working together to support this cause. Thank you!
